You will find the course Resilience in dealing with stress in the library of the 7Mind app under the category "Prevention" as soon as you have bought the certified prevention course (www.7mind.de/krankenkasse).
The ZPP-certified resilience course is visually separated from the non-certified 7Mind Plus content. You can optionally display the non-certified 7Mind content with a few clicks in the app.
In the resilience prevention course, you can expect information about stress, mindfulness, and resilience as well as many impulses to strengthen your resources in dealing with stress. The prevention course consists of 8 modules of about 60 minutes each, combining mindfulness exercises with theory. The theory focuses on seven pillars that strengthen your resilience. These include self-awareness, authentic optimism, personal responsibility, and dealing with social contacts. Practically, you will learn various relaxation and mindfulness exercises that support the strengthening of the different pillars.
Each module is accompanied by emails with written assignments, a quiz, and optionally further information. After each fully completed module, you will receive an email with the relevant handout, worksheet, and link to the quiz. The course lasts 8 weeks - each week a new module will be unlocked for you once you have fully completed the previous one. A certificate of attendance for the prevention course can be issued at the earliest after these 8 weeks, i.e. after you have completed the course in full.
Please note: The prevention course modules cannot be fast-forwarded and must be listened to in their entirety and closed by clicking on "End" in order to be evaluated correctly.
Your health insurance company says it will not subsidize or reimburse the course "Resilience in dealing with stress"?
Unfortunately, some health insurance companies don't update their prevention offerings that regularly. All German statutory health insurance companies have joined the Central Prevention Testing Agency in Germany (ZPP) and follow their offers. If you ask whether they subsidize ZPP-certified courses, they will certainly be able to confirm this.
The ABSM course is listed with the ZPP as follows:
"Online Course Mindfulness-Based Stress Management with 7Mind"
Course ID: KU-ST-NAKHWV (until 04.12.2021: KU-ST-Y4D4YT)
Course instructor: René Träger
The resilience prevention course is listed with the ZPP under this ID:
"Online course: resilience in dealing with stress"
Course ID: KU-ST-S17DV1
Course instructor: René Träder
After completing the respective prevention course, write us an email at support@7mind.de and you will receive your certificate of participation, which you can submit to your health insurance together with the invoice in order to apply for the subsidy.

Please also note the health requirements that are important for participation in the prevention course. The health requirements for the prevention course have been defined by the ZPP (Zentrale Prüfstelle für Prävention). The basic idea is that a prevention course should not be used for the treatment of diseases/disorders, as it is a course for the prevention of diseases. The main purpose is to rule out the possibility of someone trying to use the course to treat themselves without seeking help. If you are unsure, it is better to consult your doctor or therapist before meditating with 7Mind. Also, feel free to read our article Meditation and Mental Health.
