How can I get reimbursed for 7Mind by my health insurance? – Help Center

If you have statutory health insurance in Germany, you can have 1-2 preventive measures per year subsidized by your health insurance company. It is important to note that only health courses certified by the Zentrale Prüfstelle für Prävention in Germany (ZPP) are reimbursed by health insurance companies.

If you book one of the prevention courses for €99, you can have up to 100% of the costs reimbursed by your health insurance provider. The prevention courses are only available in German! You can look up the reimbursable amount at www.7mind.de/krankenkasse or directly via your health insurance provider (just ask for reimbursement of ZPP-certified prevention online courses).

Can I purchase other 7Mind courses/subscriptions and get reimbursed?

No. ONLY our certified prevention courses are reimbursable, which we offer for €99. If you book one of the courses with us, we will give you access to all other non-certified 7Mind Plus content for 6 months. Our prevention courses are not part of the 7Mind Plus content and therefore not included in a yearly subscription or the lifetime license.

Does the health insurance package renew automatically?

No, the prevention course subscription expires after 6 months. After that, depending on the conditions of your health insurance and the exhaustion of your prevention budget, you can book another prevention course with us and get reimbursed.

I currently have an annual subscription. Can this be offset against the health insurance package for €99?

No. If you have a running 7Mind subscription and purchase a prevention course subscription additionally, both subscriptions will run simultaneously. We recommend canceling your running subscription and waiting for it to expire before you purchase a prevention course subscription.

For reimbursement, you need to send two documents to your health insurance provider:

1. The invoice for the prevention course, which you receive by email after your purchase, and
2. a participation certificate.

Complete all 8 prevention course modules within a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum of 6 months to receive your participation certificate. You can find the course in the 7Mind App library under "Prävention" when your profile is set to German. Our prevention course modules can only be completed in the 7Mind mobile app on your smartphone/tablet with iOS 14.0 or higher or Android 5.0 or higher.

When you complete the 8th module, we will ask you to create your certificate of participation via email. Just follow the dialogue, sign in, enter your full name, and download the PDF file. If you encounter any problems contact our support team.

I have private insurance, live in Switzerland/Austria, or am under 18. Can I also take advantage of this offer?

In general, anyone can subscribe to our prevention courses for €99. Reimbursement of the course fee can usually only be claimed by those who have statutory health insurance in Germany and are over 18 years of age. There are also some private health insurance companies that (partially) reimburse preventive measures. It's best to ask your health insurance company whether they subsidize prevention courses certified by the ZPP.

Do I always have to pay €99 in advance?
