You can find the sleep prevention course ("Erholsamer Schlaf") in the library of the 7Mind mobile app under the category "Prävention" as soon as you have subscribed to the certified prevention course or activated the free BARMER 12-months-subscription. Our prevention courses are only available in German.
The ZPP-certified prevention course is visually separated from the non-certified 7Mind Plus content. You can optionally display the non-certified 7Mind content with a few clicks within the app.
In our sleep course, you can expect 8 modules of about 60 minutes each. The individual modules are accompanied by emails with written assignments, a quiz, and a sleep diary. After each fully completed module, you will receive an email with the respective handout, and link to the quiz. The course lasts 8 weeks - each week a new module will be unlocked for you once you have fully completed the previous one.
Please note: The prevention course modules cannot be fast-forwarded and must be listened to in their entirety and closed by clicking on "end meditation" in order to be evaluated correctly.
Your health insurance company says it will not subsidize or reimburse the prevention course?
Unfortunately, some health insurance companies don't update their prevention offerings that regularly. All German statutory health insurance companies have joined the Central Prevention Testing Agency in Germany (ZPP) and follow their offers. If you ask whether they subsidize ZPP-certified courses, they will certainly be able to confirm this.
The Sleep prevention course is listed with the ZPP as follows:
”Onlinekurs: Erholsamer Schlaf”
Course ID: KU-ST-YAJR7G
Course instructor: Dominik Wehler
After completing the prevention course we will issue a certificate of participation for you, which you can submit along with the invoice in order to have it reimbursed.

Please also note the health requirements for participation in the prevention course.
The health requirements for the prevention course have been defined by the ZPP (Zentrale Prüfstelle für Prävention). The basic idea is that a prevention course should not be used in order to treat diseases/disorders, as it is a course designed to prevent certain diseases. The main purpose behind this, is to rule out the possibility of someone trying to use the course to treat themselves without seeking professional help. If you are unsure about this, it is better to consult your doctor or therapist before meditating with 7Mind. Also, feel free to read our article on Meditation and Mental Health.
